Packing For France
Saturday I am headed to Aulnay-sous-Bois (just outside of Paris) for what promises to be a very fun gig. Larry Skoller, the fantastic gentleman who has booked shows for us in France on two previous occasions (and once gave us a spectacular cognac crash-course) has put together a concert he is calling African Mountain Blues. We will be rehearsing with Cheick Hamala Diabate and Bill Sims, working up material for a concert and sometime in 2011, a CD.
